Every employer shall pay to each employee wages at a rate of not less than eight twelve dollars and fifty cents an hour beginning on july 1, 2024, thirteen dollars and fifty cents beginning on january 1, 2025, and fifteen dollars beginning on january 1, 2026. The minimum wage is annually adjusted by any increase in cost of living, as measured by the consumer price index published by the u.s. Effective january 1 st 2024 the state’s minimum wage will increase from $10.80 an hour to $11.20 an hour.
